Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009!

Well, it's the end of another year. I can hardly believe that! Time has just flown by this year. I don't know why this year was any different from any other but it seems to have flown at the speed of Light!

I am sitting here at work, doing everything I can to not work and decided to put a quick post on my blog.

Here's what 2008 was for me...
More healthy than 2007
More organized than 2007
Less free time than 2007
More family time than 2007
More travel than 2007
Less time to myself than 2007

Here's what I hope for what 2009 will be for me...
More healthy than 2008
More weightloss than 2008
More free time than 2008
More family time than 2008
More scrapbooking time than 2008
Less debt than 2008
More time to myself than 2008

I'm sure there are a lot more reflections I could post and maybe later today or first thing tomorrow while taking a break from what I see as a complete Scrapbooking weekend, I can get on here and post.

In the meantime, I hope that your 2008 was a great year and here's to 2009!!!

Our Christmas Card photos

Okay so a couple of weekends ago, we had our portraits taken by a professional photographer at the Gaylord Texan. He got some great shots of the 4 of us and some great ones of the kids too... Want to see what we chose for our Christmas Cards?

There it is! Thanks for letting me share!

Aunt Alice has passed away

Last week, my Aunt Alice King had a stroke. Sunday evening, she passed away. Tomorrow, I am headed off to New Mexico, leaving the kids in Bob's Very Capable Hands! Her public funeral service is Thursday morning, but she'll be lying in state at the State Capitol Building tomorrow. The governor has set it so that the flags will be lowered to half mast. She was a force to be reckoned with and always the champion of children and families in New Mexico. She will be dearly missed. I added the video of her remembrance on the right hand side. It's very nice!
